description
This icon of the Mother of God dates from the first half of the 17th century and comes from the Orthodox church in Łopienka. In the 1940s it was moved to the church in Polańczyk, which is also the Sanctuary of the Mother of Fair Love. On 11 September 1999 the image was solemnly crowned. The crowns were blessed by Saint Pope John Paul II during his pilgrimage to Poland.
how it was made
An icon written for my niece Joanna. Now in Częstochowa.
